Increase Employee Satisfaction and Reduce Employee Turnover by Creating an Employee Handbook for Your Farm

These workshops are intended to help farm owners & their managers create their own farm-specific employee handbook. A well crafted handbook can effectively communicate the benefits and responsibilities of working on your farm, as well as foster a fair work environment and help your employees identify with your business values. The workshops material is based on the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture Guide to Developing a BC Agriculture Employee Handbook located at  www.agf.gov.bc.ca/busmgmt/labour_mgmt.htm
 
In addition to the Guide, Community Futures South Fraser (CFSF) will facilitate these workshops and have developed complementary video clips containing information from human resource subject matter experts and local farmers. Each workshops will run from 9am – 4pm. Please arrive early so you’re ready for the 9 am start.
 
The costs is only $20 per person including lunch & refreshments. Please register early as space is limited!
